On the occasion of Labour Day, I extend my sincere appreciation and gratitude to all employees across the departments and agencies under the portfolio of the Ministry of Homeland Security and Civil Affairs.
Today, we honour the dedication, commitment, and hard work of every individual who serves our nation with professionalism and pride. Whether on the frontlines safeguarding public safety and security, or behind the scenes supporting essential administrative functions and delivering critical services, each of you plays a vital role in protecting our people, securing our borders, maintaining law and order and ensuring the smooth functioning of our country. Your contributions are invaluable to the peace, stability, and continued progress of Seychelles.
I wish to recognise the unwavering service of the Seychelles Police Force, Seychelles Prison Services, Seychelles Fire and Rescue Services Agency, Immigration and Civil Identity Systems, the Regional Coordination Operations Centre (RCOC), the National Information Sharing and Coordination Centre (NISCC), Regional Fusionand Law Enforcement Centre for Safetyand Security at Sea (REFLECS3), as well as the dedicated staff of my office.
Today, we celebrate not only the value of work, but also the commitment, discipline and sacrifice that each of you demonstrates in service to our nation. Your strong sense of duty continues to strengthen our institutions and uphold the values of public service.
The Ministry remains dedicated to supporting your efforts by strengthening institutional capacity and ensuring that you are well equipped to meet the evolving demands of your duties. As we mark this important day, I encourage you all to take pride in your contributions and remain united in our shared mission to serve and protect our nation.
